  • All works are guaranteed to be authentic and as described.

  • All works are carefully described and defects are carefully noted.

  • All prints and some drawings are sold in acid free mats. Frequently drawings are in hand-made, acid free French mats. In the case of large prints or drawings, which may have to shipped in a tube to comply with US postal regulations, the mat is not included.

  • Dimensions are given in millimeters, height preceding width. In the case of intaglio prints, the dimensions given are to the platemark; where none exist, to the edge of the sheet. Lithographs are measured to the outer limits of the design. The dimensions given for drawings are those of the sheets.

  • Impression and condition qualifications are standard words we use to describe the quality of impression and condition of the work. Since the use of these words can be relative, we have defined here how we use them.

  • All works on this web site are for sale, except as noted, and all prices are net. All works are subject to prior sale. Please check with us for availability.

  • We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change and update information at any time without prior notice. Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to work description, pricing and availability. If we discover that pricing information posted on our Site is incorrect, we reserve the right not to fill orders at the incorrect price. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.


We will confirm your order as quickly as possible. Your order will be shipped within a few days from the receipt of payment. Institutions known to us will be billed.


We no longer accept credit or debit cards or PayPal. We accept personal checks and money orders in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. If a check is returned to us for insufficient funds, a returned check fee of $30 will be charged. We also accept electronic bank transfers. Please contact us for wiring instructions

Works may be sent on approval to institutions or individuals known to us, but firm orders will be given precedence.

All works on approval will be sent with the understanding that payment will be made or the items returned within two weeks of receipt, fully insured. Any exceptions to this, must be agreed to by both parties at the time of the order.

Items can be reserved for seven days.

Charges for shipping are additional as is New York State and local sales tax where applicable.


US shipments:

A $35 shipping and packaging charge will be added, regardless of quantity, for US registered mail shipment.

International shipments:

Customs forms for all international packages listing the value of your order's contents will be completed. The purchaser is responsible for additional charges for customs clearance. Shipping costs will be estimated in advance.


Unless exempted by law, New York Sales tax is charged on any purchase picked up or delivered in New York State. The purchaser will be required to pay the combined NY State and local sales tax. The rate of such combined tax is 8.875% in New York City and ranges from 4% to 9.5% elsewhere in New York State.


Any work may be returned for any reason, if it is in its original condition, within two weeks, for full refund and within thirty days for credit. The purchaser is liable for all shipping costs, including transit insurance.
