L'Amant supris
Color, toolwork and etching, ca. 1800, 558 x 434 mm., Portalis & Beraldi 3. A superb impression, the colors unusually rich, on heavy wove paper trimmed on or just inside the platemark but with plate margins around the borderline and showing full the text and the registration marks. Some time toning and discoloration of the paper noticeable in the margins. A few tiny surface scrapes.
