Les Faiseurs de Fagots
Etching, 383 x 277 mm., Bliss 182 xiii/xiv.. Fine, fresh impression with light plate tone on laid japan paper with good margins, signed in pencil; a few minor wrinkles in the sheet. Legros could work in an open linear style as easily as one of tonal areas and the quite beautiful linear drawing here, coupled with the subject matter, clearly illustrates his connection with Millet.
