Music, After the Rain
Pen and ink, 2002, 280 x 230 mm. On an anonymous German etching and mezzotint, with an old fold across the middle, two colossal birds enhance the original pastoral scene as they help a shepherd evoke an equally immense fish from behind a dam. Titled, signed and dated.
