Male Nude Study, Head and Back
Pen and brown ink on laid paper, 208 x 124 mm.
Fine, mannerist anatomical study on paper without visible watermark, from a sketchbook and numbered 33 at the upper right; paper losses restored at the lower corners and left edge. The mannerist quality of the drawing and the forceful crosshatching are comparable to other sheets by Passarotti. Old attribution verso to Baccio Bandinelli.
