Christ Heals a Man with Dropsy

Fine impression with period hand coloring in tones of brown, red and pink, on laid paper with good margins and the numbering outside the image. Verso, another hand-colored cut: Animals and Birds Coming to Christ. The work was published by Koberger, Nuremberg, Nov. 8, 1491. Two small holes where the brown ink has eaten through the paper. The design of the cuts is commonly given to Wolgemut and the blocks were produced in his studio.
