A formal portrait within a beribboned oval wreath with text on a tablet below, the sort of print commonly done in engraving, but here etched. Nothnagel was going against the grain. A strong, expectedly somewhat coarse impression on laid paper with small margins. Senckenberg was the founder of the Frankfurt City Hospital.
