Etching, 1892, 129 x 164 mm., Rinder 127 from North Holland Set, No. 13, edition 10+. Provenance: Viola & Remig Papp (not in Lugt). Fine impression with plate tone on laid paper, trimmed just outside the plate mark on three sides, leaving a small margin at the base, pencil signed. The print was No. 13 of Cameron's North Holland set of 22 subjects, of which there were printed 10 complete sets and a few separate impressions of some of the prints. One does not generally think of Cameron prints as rare, but the printing of some of them was obviously severely limited. We have never come across this particular image before.
