Three Boats on a River
Etching, Bartsch 27, 157 x 223 mm. A fine, crisp impression on laid paper with margins of at least 10 mm. all around; light staining and foxing visible mostly in the left and lower margins and on the reverse. Grimaldi, following the Carracci but also occasionally influenced by Claude Lorrain, was one of the primary exponents of the Bolognese landscape in the graphic arts.
