Apollo
Engraving, 1588, 345 x 260 mm., Bartsch 141 only state; Hirschmann 131; Strauss 263. A fine, but probably slightly later, impression on laid paper watermarked with a Crowned Shield with a Fleur de Lis, trimmed along the oval borderline, which is mostly but not entirely visible. Several flattened horizontal creases and several edge tears neatly repaired; backed(?) with thin japan.
