A fine impression, before the rework, on buff simili-japon with very large margins, signed and titled in pencil below the image and numbered 14 verso from an edition of unknown but probably small size; small creases noticeable mostly in the margins, the outer edges of the sheet somewhat grubby. The image is a bust portrait of the artists wife, the violinist Sonia Eckhardt-Gramatte, holding a small bird in her cupped hands. The background is of stylized fir trees and mountains. The title means "Listening." |
