Superb impression on vellum with good margins, signed in pencil and with the blind stamp of the publisher. The print is after one of a set of watercolors of the Fables of La Fontaine. Moreau made no prints himself and these etchings by Bracquemond, virtuosic in their technique, are the best representations of his work in a print medium. |
