Fine impression on soft wove paper with the full plate margins; a few white hair lines and printer's creases in the image. The scene shows a view of a conical monument and a town. On the ruin of a more classical monument at the left is inscribed the title information, including the date and publisher, Presso Batelli e Fanfani Cont. di S. Margherita, and including the inventor's name but not that of the engraver, which is only at the lower right below the image. |
