Fine impression on wove paper with small margins, as published in Camille Lemonnier's "Felicien Rops, L'Homme et l'Artiste," Floury, Paris, 1908. Exsteens, who numbers all the plates by Bertrand after Rops in his Rops catalog, describes the work as an etching but it clearly has a basis of heliogravure. The image is of a prostitute standing by a street lamp. |
