Description: |
A fine, strong impression on laid paper trimmed along the third circular borderline thus lacking the signature and date and therefore of indeterminate state; small knick in the outer borderline at the top. The blonde young woman is portrayed bust length, wearing a lace-trimmed dress, a black veil which falls from the back of her head, and that peculiar and briefly popular female ornament, a sort of projecting black puff from a circular patch attached to her forehead. A most interesting document of female fashion. |
