A fine impression on Japanese vellum, one of 85 such (there were, in addition, 60 proofs signed by both Cameron and the printer Goulding, and an edition of 500, apparently unsigned, on antique paper), with small but probably full margins, signed in pencil by Cameron. This was the presentation plate for the Art Union of Scotland in 1896. The image shows 18th century horsemen outside Holyrood Palace where Prince Charles resided. |
