Completely undescribed and of the greatest rarety, the print is similar in composition to Exsteens 483 but in dry point rather than etching, with small differences and composition and with the monogram TH rather than Rops' own RF. Very fine impression with plate tone and inky plate edges on imperial japan paper with large margins and from the famous Beurdeley collection. The tiny image shows a boot, an artist's box and palette with brushes, a knapsack, a hat and the monogram. |
