Description: |
A fine impression in black of this delicately etched plate, printed with light plate tone on old laid paper with full margins, signed in pencil; a light vertical printer's crease in the lower third of the plate. The view shows the rather austere tower of the church from the side, rising above the adjoining buildings (the one directly below the tower labelled "F. & E., Stoneham, Discount Booksellers") across a square. A number of figures populate the square. |
