Fine impression on chine-appliqué with full margins, signed in pencil and noted "ed. 20"; very slight foxing around some edges of the chine. The view is toward the Hudson, which is visible with shipping, on both sides of the taller buildings. The emphasis is on the rectangular forms of the buildings and the effect of late afternoon, low light on the lower rooftops. A very effective print. |
