Description: Fine impression with fresh colors on laid paper with full margins, signed in pencil and notated épr. d'artiste, and with the yellow stamp. This is one of 10 artist's proofs of the print. Since it was published by the Kromeríz Society of Friends of Art there must also have been an edition (Novák does not mention one) which Baker estimates to have been 250. It should be noted that some of the snowflakes in the image have been produced by abrading the paper, a technique common enough in British watercolor painting but rarely seen in printmaking, the first example known to us being a snow scene by the Comte Lepic.
