| Description: |
Fine impression on wove paper with large margins and in fresh condition. Quaglio was a painter and etcher who worked largely in Munich. His lithographs are architecturally interesting and skillful and, being early, are among the incunabula of lithography. The date of 1811 seems clearly printed here, but some give the date as 1814 or even 1818. |
