Description: |
Very good impression on thin laid paper, the full leaf with margins, partial text verso; remains of old water or ink stain, visible mostly verso. The full title of the work is De Dissectione Partium Corporis Humani Libri Tres, published in Paris, Simon Colinaeus, 1545. The work was intended to come out in 1539, which would have preceded Vesalius' ground breaking anatomical work (1543), but was delayed by a law suit. |
