Description: |
Fine impression in olive-brown on Van Gelder laid paper with good margins, signed and titled in pencil. In this state, the plate has been almost totally transformed. The cows and small figures have been replaced by a host of Arcadian dancers, the sky at the left darkened with a rainstorm and the plate newly signed and dated now 1908 (the year previous to the date on the earlier state). Several of the large foreground trees have been removed. |
