Description: |
A boat between two rocky islets, mythological figures all around, some playing horn, flute, etc., some passionately embracing, some standing around and some apparently on the way to someplace else. Specchi is credited on this print as "architect." It should be noted that this is a design for a fireworks display; no fireworks are shown. A good impression on laid paper with the watermark of a fleur de lis in a single circle, with large margins; traces of the usual vertical centerfold, a printer's crease with an associated small tear and tiny surface loss.
