Description: Very fine proof impression, with the artists' names but before the title, on laid paper with an Auvergne watermark, wide margins all around; two vertical folds from previous binding. The work was actually etched by Moreau le Jeune and then completely finished in engraving by Le Bas, though Moreau's name does not appear on the print. The image, a panorama, shows the King's vast retinue, most on horseback, in revue in an open field. Coaches are drawn up at the left and spectators stand on them as well as on the outskirts of the field. A print of considerable complexity and great detail and of artistic as well as historical interest.
