Collecting Thoughts About Small Trees
Pen and black ink, with pieces of old engraving, 2001, 204 x 178 mm. The image size is 140 x 104 mm.. In an oddly furrowed ground, covered with even, low-growing vegetation, bare branching trees rise from the ground. Three of them, stumps actually, culminate in heads of bearded men, the heads cut, actually, from a 16th-century engraving. Titled, signed and dated verso.
