Christ and the Woman of Samaria
Engraving, 38 x 77 mm., Bartsch 24, Pauli 26 ii/ii, ex collection: Fabricius (Lugt 847a). A good, clear but light impression on laid paper with thread margins all around; a nick at the right edge. Although the impression lacks the intensity one would prefer, it is, unlike the majority of impressions seen, the original Beham engraving and not the deceptive copy.
