Engraving, 1559, 24 x 166 mm., Bartsch 35, from The Months with Astrological Signs, ex collections: Friedrich August II of Saxony (Lugt 971); Hugo Ahne (not in L.); Dr. K. O. (not in L.). Fine, strong impression on laid paper, trimmed slightly unevenly along the platemark, essentially complete; a tiny stain on Sagittarius at the center. The representation is of chopping and splitting wood by the men and the processing of flax by the women.
