The Hunchbacked Fiddler
Etching, 1654, 155 x 110 mm., Davidsohn 44 ii/v; Godefroy 44 iii/vi; Hollstein 44 iii/vi, Boon/Verbeek 44 iii/vi. Fine, early impression, rare in this state on laid paper with no visible watermark. According to Pelletier, no impression earlier than iii/vi is known today. Trimmed inside the platemark but outside the borderline; tiny loss lower left.
